The project REBRAND HR — Rehabilitated Defender of the Fatherland of Croatia psychosocially empowers and improves the quality of life of defenders and secondarily traumatized persons and strengthens their human resources (eng.hr—Human resources) to assume active social roles, which changes the negative attitude of the environment (eng.REBRAND—change the way the public perceives something). The partnership brings together three civil society organizations [MP1] that provide a variety of psychosocial assistance, home and health services, including palliative care, with quality assured through training programs for professionals to work with veterans. [MP1] do not use abbreviations, in the project application they were used due to the limited number of characters

Objectives of the project
  • Develop the professional capacities of the OCD for the provision of social services and enhance the capacity of professionals from other relevant fields to work with defenders, families of defenders, victims and missing defenders
  • To provide outside institutional services that will increase the quality of life and social inclusion of Croatian defenders, families of defenders, victims and missing defenders.
